We felt the need for speed! So we headed to a premier indoor karting facility in Sterling, Virginia.
After receiving a driver safety briefing, we got into our race suits and protective gear and headed for the race track. The event entailed several sprint races with all positions receiving points. As the afternoon moved on, the positions for the 25 lap qualifying race were gradually filled by the top points winners. The final event was a 40 lap race with the starting grid based on the 25 lap qualifier.
After a day of many checkered flags coming down, lots of close racing, several shunts, and a few black flags, the following individuals climbed to the podium to receive their trophies and to shake and spray a bottle of Champagne in true Grand Prix fashion!
