Williams Notaro decided to try something new -- celebrate the holiday season
after the holidays, so we'd have something to look forward to after New Year's...and did we ever!!
The festivities started on a January evening with a cocktail reception at Sequoias Restaurant in Washington, DC. Our private room overlooked the Potomac River and the illuminated Kennedy Center. Passed hors d'oeuvres included miniature crabcakes, duck & pinenut dumplings, grilled chicken skewers and wild mushroom crostini.
Guests were then invited to a delicious, sit down dinner followed by the big event of the evening - Casino Night! Each high-roller received $100,000 in "funny money" to gamble away at the Poker tables, Roulette wheel or Black Jack tables. It was a lot of fun as some "lost it all" and other walked away with over $1 million!
The evening ended with a raffle in which everyone won a prize, but only one lucky person was awarded the Grand Prize of a $100 gift certificate to the local mall. Congratulations to Chris Williams!
