Williams Notaro celebrated "Bring Your Child to Work Day" on April 23, 2009 with 5 year old Ava Daly learning about a typical day for our hardworking engineers.
After her morning kindergarten class was over, Ava reported for work at noon. Although a little shy, her mom (Elena Daly, Office Manager) helped Ava walk around the office and introduce herself to her "new co-workers."
Ava then went into the conference room and designed a house.
When she finished, she reviewed some electrical drawings for an office renovation.
Her day ended with a "pretend" conference call with the client and general contractor.
Ava loved her afternoon at Williams Notaro and kept saying "fun for everyone!" -- especially when she got to photocopy her hand and drink hot cocoa from the fancy coffee machine.
After receiving advice from Ken Notaro, PE, Principal on excelling in math, she went home looking forward to school the next day so she could share her experience with her teacher and classmates....and pay attention in math.
