Williams Notaro celebrated its fourteenth anniversary in business by closing the office early on Friday, November 12th, and going out for lunch and an afternoon of bowling. At the Blue Iguana restaurant in Fairfax, we enjoyed discussing our favorite movies while dining on either fried green tomatoes with red pepper caper sauce, spinach salad with roasted onions, goat cheese, pine nuts, pancetta and pomegranate vinaigrette, an entrée of grilled bistro steak and shrimp or seafood penne with succulent shrimp, scallops and crabmeat, or tasty desserts like crème brûlée or brioche bread pudding with caramel sauce.

With our stuffed stomachs, we eagerly headed to the local bowling alley to work off the food. Some of our entertaining competitions included one round of mechanical engineers versus electrical engineers, and another of the younger staff versus the older staff. We laughed, had a great time, and enjoyed the friendly competition. This was a perfect way to end a busy workweek and start the weekend!
