We are also an athletic group! We enjoy sand volleyball in the spring, summer, and fall, and even tried indoor volleyball with a local league in the winter. We have people who play racquetball, golf, bowl and race cars.
We even have an informal fitness club that organizes light workouts in the office most days right before lunch. All the competition is for fun and is light hearted.
And who doesn't love the night life? As a group, we like to go out on the town occasionally. We have been to two Cirque du Soleil shows together, a night out at the movies, a nice dinner in Washington DC with a show at the Kennedy Center and sometimes just a casual night of billiards.
Birthday celebrations get everyone in a great mood! Once a month we gather in the conference room and celebrate birthdays for fellow employees - complete with a birthday cake and candles. We even had a cake to commemorate WNA's 5th birthday a few years ago.
The Jubilee Gala is an annual black tie event that allows employees and guests the opportunity to dress up and raise money for a worthwhile local charity. WNA purchases its own table each year,
and we have a fun time dining and dancing, all while supporting the Jubilee Support Alliance charity which provides decent and affordable private housing for low-income residents of Washington, DC.
So whatever the event, you can always count on great company, food, and a focus on having a great time without the pressures of our business!
