The central Heating, Ventilating, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) system is now 33 years old. Tiffany & Co. is currently renovating floors 1 and 2 and providing a new HVAC air distribution system, but the system serving floors 3 through 11 is still original. The occupants of the building have complained of poor temperature control and other comfort related issues. Williams Notaro & Associates, Inc. was retained to evaluate the overall condition of the existing HVAC equipment and the system operation and to provide a recommendation to improve the indoor comfort, system reliability, and energy efficiency.
