When Marriott built this hotel it was a stylish addition to the Baltimore Inner Harbor Waterfront. To meet the needs of the modern traveler, Williams Notaro & Associates assisted Marriott in a renovation of the power to the rooms to give the guests more locations to connect their portable electronics devices. Additional telephone and high speed internet connection points were also installed. The lighting was renovated throughout the corridors and in the guest rooms to conform to a more modern style. The Concierge Lounge on the 31st floor was also renovated to give the guests more intimate areas for private group meetings.
This renovation provided unique challenges since most of the areas do not have a ceiling. To get the new power circuiting and duct work to the renovated areas, the work had to be closely coordinated with the existing bulk heads and conditions.
