Based on our analysis, The Washington Post replaced the old equipment with high efficiency components. The new components are integrated together through an energy management system that is the first of its kind in the Washington, DC area. Special pumping system controllers, variable primary chilled water flow, and a waterside economizer system contribute to the efficient operation of the plant. Increased comfort and a healthier environment are realized from the low temperature chilled water system.
